Not even the most AVID FB2K reader would guess who this is....

White Sox SP Gavin Floyd threw 8 innings of 4 hit ball giving up 2 runs and striking out 10. Sergio Santos picked up his 2nd straight save, but the real save went to late inning substitution Brent Lillibridge (pictured above). 2 spectacular catches in RF for the 2nd and final outs of the game, robbing AROD & Robinson Cano with 2 runners on in a 3-2 game.


Brewers OF Corey Hart was taken off the DL Tuesday, but didn’t play.

Rockies OF CarGo was given a day off to rest his .217 batting average.  He did pinch hit Tuesday night.

Cardinals 1B Albert Pujols missed Tuesday’s game with a bad hammy.


The Rays/Twins game was rained out.  It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.

The Padres are currently averaging less than 3 runs per game.  That is the lowest team scoring average in nearly 40 years.

Dodgers OF Andre Ethier extended his hitting streak to 23 games Tuesday.

Indians SP Justin Masterson improved to 5-0 on the season.  3B Jack Hannahan went 3-4 with 2 solo homers.  OF Grady Sizemore was 3-4 with 2 doubles, a homer, and 2 RBIs.

Nationals C Wilson Ramos went 3-4 with 2 homers and 3 RBI in a losing effort to the Mets.

Orioles rookie SP Zach Britton improved to 4-1 in a victory over the Red Sox.  He went 6 innings giving up a run on 5 hits.

Mitchell Boggs imploded Tuesday night against the Astros.  He entered the 9th with a 5-4 lead.  He promptly gave up a single, then a passed ball, then committed an error on a sac bunt attempt, then a wild pitch, and 3 straight singles after that blew the save for the Cardinals.

Blue Jays 1B Adam Lind was 3-5 with 2 homers and 5 RBI as the Blue Jays romped over the Rangers.

Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa improved to 4-0 with a victory over the Cubs.  He went 7 innings giving up 1 earned run & 9 Ks.

Brewers OF Ryan Braun stroked his 9th homer of the year.

Phillies SP Roy Oswalt only lasted 3 innings giving up 5 runs on 6 hits in a loss to the Diamondbacks.  Daniel Hudson earned his first victory of the season.  He went 6 innings, scattering 10 hits and 3 runs with 0 walks and 6 Ks.

Braves OF David Ross went 2-4 with 2 HR & 4 RBIs.  SP Jair Jurrjens threw a CG giving up 9 hits and 2 runs with 2 BBs & 4 Ks.  Padres SP Aaron Harang suffered his first loss of the season giving up 8 runs and 7 hits in 6 innings of work.

As SP Brandon McCarthy was knocked around by the Angels Tuesday night.  He gave up 14 hits and 7 runs in 5 1/3 innings.
