That's MISTER Kennedy to you Philly!

Diamondbacks SP Ian “Mister” Kennedy threw a complete game 3 hit shutout against the Phillies Monday night. He struck out 10 and didn’t walk a batter. He sent Cliff Lee to a 2-2 record on the year. Lee gave up 5 hits and 4 runs in 7 innings with a walk and 12 strikeouts.

INJURY NEWS

The Diamondbacks placed OF Willie Bloomquist on the DL with a strained hamstring.

SS Juan Uribe of the Dodgers sat out M0nday night with tightness in his right thigh.

GAME NOTES

The Reds beat up on Brewers SP Chris Narveson to the tune of 7 runs and 8 hits in 2 1/3 IP.  2B Brandon Phillips went 3-4 with 3 RBI from the cleanup spot.  He now has 4 multi-hit games in his last 5 starts.

Brewers OF Ryan Braun hit his 8th homer of the year Monday night.  He went 2-5 with 2 RBIs & a stolen base.

Cubs OF Kosuke Fukudome (You know I wanted to use him in the picture SO BAD!)  went 5-5 Monday with 5 singles & a run scored.

Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista went 1 for 2 with his 8th homer.  He’s now reached base 14 times in his last 4 games!

Dodgers closer Jonathan Broxton blew his first save of the year against the Marlins Monday.  Andre Ethier extended his hit streak to 22 games.  Marlins OF Chris Coghlan went 3-4 with 2 solo homers.

White Sox SP Phil Humber no-hit the Yankees for 6 1/3 innings before giving up a single to AROD in the 7th.  He went 7 innings only giving up that 1 hit with 2 walks and 5 Ks to get the win.  Sergio Santos got his first save for the Sox.  Yankees SP AJ Burnett lost his first game of the year going 8 innings, giving up 3 hits & a run while both walking and striking out 2.

Angels SP Jered Weaver did it again with another phenomenal performance Monday night against the A’s.  A CG shutout, scattering 7 hits with 1 walk and 10 Ks.  He’s now 6-0 with a 0.79 WHIP & 0.99 ERA on the season.
