Feliz means happy...but not for Neftali owners....

Rangers closer Neftali Feliz hit the DL on Saturday with shoulder inflammation.  40 year old Darren Oliver got the save Saturday night, but look for Ron Washington to go to a committee.
Twins 1B Justin Morneau returned to the lineup Saturday and went 2-5 with 2 RBIs.
NY Mets SP Chris Young…not the CF for the Diamondbacks that has actually been moved to leadoff….plans to start Tuesday against the Nationals.

Brewers 2B Richie Weeks will return to the lineup on Sunday.

Blue Jays 2B Aaron Hill will be placed on the DL after the game Sunday.

Phillies RP Ryan Madson picked up his 2nd straight save Saturday night, but manager Charlie Manuel said he was just giving Jose Contreras some rest.  He’s still the closer to own in Philly.


Albert Pujols hit his 7th home run on Saturday.

Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista went 3-3 for the 2nd day in a row and also hit 2 homers and scored 3 runs.  SP Brandon Morrow made his first start of the season in a losing effort.  He went 5 1/3 innings, giving up 3 hits and 3 runs while striking out 10.

Cubs SS Simon Castro brought his batting average up to .393 going 4-5 with a 2B, 2 runs, 3 RBI and a SB for good measure. SP Ryan Dempster gave up 7 runs on 9 hits in 5 2/3 IP.  Dodgers  SP Ted Lilly gave up 11 hits and 5 runs in 4 1/3 IP.  Both received a no decision in the Cubs 10-8 wild win.

Rays rookie OF Sam Fuld went 1-3 with 2 walks and 2 runs and also stole his 10th base of the season.

Indians SP Fausto Carmona continued his up and down season going 5 innings, giving up 7 hits and 6 runs with 4 walks and only 1 K.  OF Grady Sizemore hit his 2nd homer since coming off the DL.  He’s batting .391 with 5 RBIs in those 6 games.

Tigers SP Brad Penny gave up 1 single in 7 innings of work to shut out the White Sox 9-0.  Edwin Jackson gave up 7 runs on 12 hits in 5 2/3 innings with 4 walks and 3 Ks to take the loss.

A’s SP Trevor Cahill went 6 innings and gave up a run to get the win.  He’s given up exactly 1 run in 4 of his 5 starts this year.  3B Kevin Kouzmanoff went 2 for 4 with a homer and 4 RBIs.

Red Sox SP Dice K g0t the win over the Angels giving up 1 hit and striking out 9 in 8 innings of work.  3B Kevin Youkilis returned to the lineup with a 2 run homer.

Braves SP Tim Hudson outdueled The Freak on Saturday.  He went 8 2/3 innings giving up 9 hits and 2 runs while walking no one and whiffing 4.  Lincecum was wild going 6 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits, 5 runs, 6 walks and 6 Ks.

Yankees SP CC Sabathia earned his first win of the year going 8 innings giving up 3 runs on 6 hits with a walk and 7 Ks.  AROD went 2-5 with a double, homer, 2 runs and 6 RBIs.  LF Brett Gardner was moved to the bottom of the lineup and went 2-5 as well, with a double, homer and 2 RBIs.  Derek Jeter was in the leadoff spot.

Rangers rookie SP Alexi Ogando moved to 3-0 going 6 innings giving up 5 hits, 1 walk and 5 Ks.

Brewers OF Ryan Braun went 2-5 with his 7th home run and 3 RBIs.
