This Sunday marks the premiere of HBO’s new drama Game of Thrones, based on the best selling fantasy adventure series, A Song of Fire and Ice, by Georde R.R. Martin. Judging by the 14 minute preview released by HBO last week, which you can find here (http://www.hbo.com/#/game-of-thrones), there’s gonna be some heads lopped off. In honor of this we here at PlaxcioAgrees give you the Top 5 Decapitations.

"This is for not forwarding the link to PlaxicoAgrees.com!"

5) Day of The Dead – Master zombie director George Romero brings us this next clip. No weapons, just the dead ripping some guys head off and he screams like a woman.

4) Jason Takes Manhattan – This is a long clip but the payoff is worth it. Dummy here thinks he can box Jason Voorhees. Jason takes it in stride and plays a little rope-a-dope until punchy tires himself out. He then puts Tyson to shame.

3) The Omen – There are two things I’ll always remember actor David Warner for. He played Evil Genius in Terry Gilliam’s Time Bandits and he got his head sliced off by a pane of glass in The Omen. Cracks me up every time.

2) 30 Days of Night – Poor Josh Hartnett, his small Alaskan town gets overrun with vampires and now he has to chop his friends head off before he joins team Edward.

1) Conan the Barbarian – “Hello, my name is Conan the Barbarian. You killed my father, prepare to die……then I will throw your head down these stairs.”

Honorable mention to the Jack Black video game Brutal Legend “DECAPITATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!!!!!”
