That's right...nothing but class here at FB2K

Why didn’t I use the drunk pics you ask? I like Josh Hamilton. I read his book, he signed a card for me TTM, so I figure I owe him as much. He was awesome at that Home Run Derby at Yankee Stadium, and let’s face it…everyone loves a good comeback story.   Plus it’s a serious injury and those are never a laughing matter in fantasy baseball.
For those who haven’t heard..Rangers OF Josh Hamilton will be out 6-8 weeks after injuring his shoulder in a loss to the Tigers Tuesday afternoon.

Dodgers SS Rafael Furcal has a fractured thumb and has been placed on the 15 day DL.

Tigers OF Magglio Ordonez will miss a couple of days with achilles tendonitis.

Texas rookie SP Alexis Ogando left his last start with a blister, but he will be fine to make his next start.

Returning to the lineup on Tuesday were Marlins SS Hanley Ramirez (who went 0-4) and White Sox DH Adam Dunn (who went 1-4 with a walk and 2 Ks).

Game Notes :

Lots of rainouts tonight.  The Mets/Rockies game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Thursday.

David Price went 7 2/3 innings giving up 5 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks and 3 Ks to get the W over the Red Sox 3-2.  His opposition Jon Lester posted a line of 7 IP, 7 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks and 8 Ks but got the loss.  Also in that game Rays OF Sam Fuld went 1-4 but stole base #6.

Astros SP Brett Myers beat the Cubs today going 7 strong innings giving up 8 hits with 1 run, no walks and 5 Ks.  The Cubs went starter by committee today throwing James Russell out there.  He gave up 7 hits and 4 ER in 1 2/3 innings.  Astros OF Hunter Pence went 3-5 with a double and 4 RBIs.

Braves SP Tommy Hanson got his first victory of the year shutting out the Marlins.  He went 7 innings giving up 4 hits, 0 runs, 2 BBs & 5 Ks.

White Sox SS Alexei Ramirez went 2-4 with 2 homers – including the game winner…a walk off in the bottom of the 10th.  He also had 3 runs and 4 RBIs.

The Angels finally stopped the red hot Cleveland Indians Tuesday night 2-0.  It took a Dan Haren CG 1 hit shutout to do it.  He walked 2 and struck out 8.  Fausto Carmona was impressive as well.  Yes I remember I criticizing him after his initial start.  He went 7 2/3 innings holding the Angels to 4 hits and 2 runs with 6 Ks.  The only hit Haren gave up was a single to OF Shin-Soo Choo.

Mariners rookie Michael Pineda looked impressive again in beating the Blue Jays 3-2.  He went 7 1/3 innings giving up 5 hits with 1 ER,  2 BB & 7Ks.  Ricky Romero went the whole way in a losing effort for the Jays.  8 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB & 8 Ks.

Cardinals SP Chris Carpenter got rocked by the Diamondbacks for 8 hits and 8 runs in 4 IP.  1B Albert Pujols was 3-5 with a run scored.  OF Lance Berkman was 3-5 with a homer & 2 RBIs.  OF Chris Young was 3-4 with a homer and 3 RBIs for the D’Backs.

Dodgers OF Matt Kemp was caught stealing for the first time this season in their loss to the Giants.
