Bonnaroo announces traveling road show

Over the years, Bonnaroo has become one of the biggest annual music festivals. Featuring yearly line-ups packed with mainstream acts, jam bands, hip-hop, country and even stand-up comedy. This year Bonnaroo runs from June 9 through the 12th and features giants like Eminem, Arcade Fire, Robert Plant, Mumford & Sons, My Morning Jacket, Gregg Allman, Lil’ Wayne and slew of others.

In honor of the festivals 10th anniversary, The Bonnaroo Buzz Tour was announced today. The tour will feature 5 acts appearing at the June festival as they make their way down to it’s home in Manchester, TN. Kicking off on May 17th at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ the tour is headlined by Vermont’s Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, who have recently been getting the radio play that they deserve.

Also on the tour will be Athens, GA natives The Futurebirds, Austin blues guitarist Gary Clark Jr., Belgian rockers Black Box Revelation and comedian Julian McCullough. After Asbury Park the tour moves down to Balitmore, MD and continues through the south before wrapping up on June 9th in Charleston, WV.
